Harrison Wood's Jazz, Swing And Big Band Gigs

"I play lots of Jazz, Swing and Big Band gigs on both double bass and electric bass and I'm the band leader and contact for my own 'Harrison & Friends' gigs".

The kind of events I'm playing for include weddings, family celebrations, corporate events, hotel and restaurant gigs, concerts and shows etc.

'Dizzy Hack & The Rhino Horns Big Band'
I play double bass and electric bass in this new band. The band's made up of some really great local musicians and teachers and features a 18 piece band and two singers. The bands leader is Adrian Boardman and you can give me a ring if you want his number to book the band.

'TJ Sounds'
TJ Sounds is a jazz quintet based around the great Hammond organ sound with vocals. The band features Steven Wren on Hammond and Vocals, Gerard McDonald on Tenor Sax, Eddie Waring on guitar and Trevor Wilgrass on drums.

'The Aeolian Jazz Quartet'
I've played with The Aeolian for a couple of years. The band probably won't be able to do gigs together after September 09 as Mike Butcher's going to study sax with the famous Tommy Smith at the Scottish Academy, I'm off to RNCM Manchester, Hector's off to study drums at Leeds and Julian's having a gap year. So book us while you can ;-)
