To be involved with a 'Neil Claxton' project is a dream come true for me!
I was delighted to be invited down to Manchester's Blueprint Studios for the day back in June 09 to help Neil Claxton (and studio engineer George). They were recording a new album with the very talented Fran Barker for their new project 'Seerauber Jenny'. Since then, Fran and Neil asked me to play bass for their 'Seerauber Jenny' live dates, the first of which was an headline gig in October 2009 at 'In The City', the World's largest new music industry event. We've now done loads of great gigs and I've enjoyed every one of them with the rest of the Seerauber Jenny Troupe :)
About Seerauber Jenny
Seerauber Jenny is a project conceived by young human, Fran Barker, a singer/songwriter from Wiltshire. Her catalogue of earthy and positively received shoegazer tunes, led to her capture by Neil Claxton, a Victorian explorer type, willing to display her songs in a glass sample cabinet, as an exotic specimen.
